What Orca can do?

Orca is a language model that emulates GPT-4's thought processes in order to overcome the constraints of smaller models. Orca uses fewer processing resources to run and function because it is smaller in size. According to reports, the Orca AI tool is on par with large foundation models ( LFM ) like GPT-4. In fact, people have been debating whether Orca will compete with OpenAI's well-known AI tool ChatGPT ever since Microsoft unveiled Orca.

According to research, Orca can understand complex instructions, step-by-step cognitive processes, and other explanations with the use of GPT-4. According to Microsoft, Orca is a 13 billion parameter model that learns to mimic the thought processes of LFMs. Because of the number of machine learning parameters it has, Orca is also known as Orca 13B.

Microsoft claims that despite being a small model, Orca has produced outstanding results; on the Big-Bench Hard (BBH) benchmark, it is on par with Chat GPT and outperforms traditional AI models on both that benchmark and the AGIEval human-centric benchmark. Additionally, it reflects successful achievement on academic and professional exams including the SAT, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT.

 Microsoft has not yet made any announcements regarding when Orca 13B might become open source, but it might hit the market quickly when it has demonstrated its viability. Orca's future as an open-source model that developers can use to build and train their own models is still unknown. Orca might even be improved based on user input if it does become open source.
